Been wondering about your pelvic floor?
Pelvic floor health is about more than just doing Kegels.
It is an important part of overall strength, movement and wellbeing.
The pelvic floor is deeply connected to how we breathe, move and respond to stress. When we’re constantly in “go mode,” the body can hold tension in ways which may contribute to symptoms such as tension, weakness, leaking, pressure or difficulty engaging the core.
Part of my coaching focuses on helping women reconnect with their breath, regulate their nervous system and build strength in a way that supports pelvic health. I help women develop greater awareness and control of these systems so the body can function more efficiently and comfortably.
We can work together on an individualised, multi-phase program that will assist you if you’re experiencing pelvic floor symptoms, navigating pregnancy or postpartum recovery, returning to exercise after injury, or moving through hormonal transitions.
